“My family and I recently hosted a surprise 80th birthday party for my mom. Music was to be an integral part of the party. We came across Paul’s name as a reference from management at Giando’s on the Water, a well known restaurant/catering hall in Brooklyn. I found and viewed a YouTube video of Paul performing. This was enough to satisfy my curiosity. The first thing my wife and I noticed was his phenomenal voice singing a well known Andrea Bocelli song. We looked no further and reached out to Paul.What a gentleman on the phone! Paul was very easy to talk to. We needed him to appeal to a large cross section of guests, from different ages and eras, early teens to young nineties…not an easy task! About two weeks before the party I forwarded to Paul a list of my mom’s ten favorite songs/artists. I should point out that he is easy to reach, follows up with call backs that he promises, and is very accommodating.The day of our event was the first and only time I had met Paul. He had showed up 90 minutes early to set up his equipment. Paul was even nicer in person. He came dressed as we had requested, in a suit, and open collar shirt, which fit our venue. He fulfilled all that we asked for: he shined as a performer, so much so that several guests came to me clamoring to ask him to sing more. He did all the standards: Frank Sinatra, Andrea Bocelli, and a Billy Joel that would have made Billy very proud. He made introductions, announcements as we asked, and led us all to a great rendition of “Happy Birthday” for mom. He allowed for quiet time during dinner, playing soft ballads, and wonderful love songs. The music never stopped, and unlike many others in his line of work (who constantly take breaks and disappear) Paul was always there.What more can I say? He is a true consummate professional, very hip, but very “old school” in what it means to do a great job! The crowd loved him, my mom loved him, and I loved him. How else can I endorse this man? Hire him, please, and see for yourself. Paul Rich will NOT disappoint. Bravo Paul!”

“My wife and I cannot say enough about this band. They made our wedding night truly special by playing the wedding classics as well as playing a number of our favorite songs. The voices and medleys were as perfect as if you were listening to the CD itself. In fact, one of our guests mentioned that she did not know we switched to a CD in the middle of the reception. We told her that, no that wasn’t a CD, but that the band was still playing. Her eyes showed her disbelief as she stated that this was the best band she ever heard at a wedding.Paul was instrumental in helping Michelle and I prepare our special day. He helped us with putting together a small two-piece jazz ensemble together for our cocktail hour as well as picking out our song for our entrance. While they played wedding favorites, I was amazed at how they were able to transition to Del Shannon, Johnny Cash and Outkast. I felt that no song was beyond them.The greatest testimony to a band is the amount of people dancing at the event. I can say with certainty that our seats were completely empty as everyone was on the dance floor. The band can flat out play and sing. ‘One of the best things we did for our wedding was to have Paul Rich Band. They had done a friend’s wedding reception and we enjoyed it so much we decided to hire his band for our wedding too. I was a little concerned because not only would we have various age groups among the guests but also there were different cultures to consider since many of our parents’ guests were Korean but Paul read the crowd precisely and knew exactly how to get all the people involved.
